Dan McIntosh, a Bensalem paramedic, died after responding to a call of a patient suffering from a mental illness Sunday night.

It happened around 7 p.m. when medics went with police to a home on the 2600 block of Kiansas Avenue.

FEBRUARY 25 - John Harwood from Oxford England stopped at Station 28 on his bike on day 1006 of his around the world trip. He has been on the road for over 2 years and has quite a story to tell living in his tent and being on the last leg of his trek. Rescue 28 Due on MVC Reported Serious

FEBRUARY 16 - This evening just before 8 pm Rescue 28 was dispatched to Old Wilmington Road south of Route 30 to assist Station 31(Sadsburyville) on an accident reported as serious. Assistant 31(Grossman) arrived within minutes of dispatch and advised of one vehicle on its side with the occupant still in the vehicle. Rescue 28 made the response with a total of 5 Volunteers. Parkesburg Fire Company Members Work Through the Night to Assure Your Safety

FEBRUARY 06 - The Parkesburg Fire Company, in cooperation with Parkesburg Borough and the Parkesburg VFW, began to make preparations for the big snow storm as early as 09:00 am Friday. Food, shelter and snow removal plans were secured and made ready in the event the community needed them.

Rescue 28 Due on Working Dwelling Fire in East Fallowfield

JANUARY 30 - This afternoon Rescue 28 was dispatched as part of a Box Alarm to Lyons Lane located in East Fallowfield. Pomeroy units arrived on location and confirmed a working structure fire. Rescue 28 arrived and assisted with suppression duties and overhaul. All crews operated for several hours in the extreme cold. Members Take Additional Training To Better Protect Their Community

JANUARY 30 - This weekend Parkesburg Volunteers hosted Truck Company Operations by Traditions Training. The class is focused on the "Truck Company" aspect of daily fire ground operations. The class was also attended by members of Honey Brook Fire and Modena Fire. The class focuses on "real world" operations of a truck company. Many skills were reinforced along with some new skills gained.

Overnight Vehicle Fire in West Sadsbury

JANUARY 26 - At 00:13 Atglen and Parkesburg Fire Companies were dispatched for a vehicle fire on Lincoln Highway East of Swan Road, Atglen's section of West Sadsbury Township. Deputy 28 arrived first and reported the fire to be West of Swan Road, one vehicle fully involved.
