Engine and Ambulance Assist Atglen on Working House Fire

Engine and Ambulance 28 were dispatched to assist Atglen Fire Company on the working house fire at 1575 Glen Run Road in West Fallowfield Township after 0100 hrs with Township police on location reporting the house fully involved.
A 1st and 2nd Alarm tanker task force was called for while crews performed an exterior attack to knock down the bulk of the fire. Several handlines were then placed into service and extensive overhaul operations completed.
Fortunately no one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshal's Office.
