Rescue 28 Due on Working Dwelling Fire in East Fallowfield

This afternoon Rescue 28 was dispatched as part of a Box Alarm to Lyons Lane located in East Fallowfield. Pomeroy units arrived on location and confirmed a working structure fire. Rescue 28 arrived and assisted with suppression duties and overhaul. All crews operated for several hours in the extreme cold. Rescue 28 along with Ambulance 291 also provided an area for warmth during the incident. Rescue 28 returned just over 2.5 hours after the call went out. Rescue 28 handled this incident while other members were in West Chester attending further training.
