This evening just before 8 pm Rescue 28 was dispatched to Old Wilmington Road south of Route 30 to assist Station 31(Sadsburyville) on an accident reported as serious. Assistant 31(Grossman) arrived within minutes of dispatch and advised of one vehicle on its side with the occupant still in the vehicle. Rescue 28 made the response with a total of 5 Volunteers. Upon arrival of Rescue 28 crews began to prepare for extrication when the victim was freed from the vehicle by onscene EMS. Rescue 28 was released by command within thirty minutes of dispatch. 28 Fire Police cleared the scene a short time later.
