Classic Eggshell COGNAC: Paint vs. Primer – A Compare… Painted Proof!
We were eager to test the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines Classic Interior Wall, Ceiling, Trim Paint and Primer in Eggshell Finish, COGNAC. Mixing uses was key. Our results? The paint offered a deep, rich hue, while the primer ensured smooth coverage. No brush marks marred our efforts, thanks to its creamy texture. The Eggshell finish was forgiving – any uneven strokes softened with multiple coats. We noted the primer’s durability as the foundation, with the paint layer adding elegance. A gallon yielded ample coverage for our small living room, with little waste. COGNAC pairs beautifully with wood tones and vintage decor. We appreciate how one product saves time and money. Alternative primers may suffice, but this combo delivered uniformity. The result? Flourish.
